Bear Robotics KINO-2: demonstration-to-skill robot-learning platform
Bear Robotics launched KINO-2 on Oct 21 at GTC Berlin: a robot-learning platform that turns human task demonstrations into deployable manipulation skills on KR1, Bear's humanoid (acquired via Kinisi Robotics in 2026), moving the company from moving goods to handling them. NVIDIA Isaac OS sits at the core of KINO-2's perception runtime on Jetson AGX Thor, cutting Isaac GR00T inference from ~500ms to ~60ms (8x) and Bear's in-house model 4.2x (72.3 to 17.2ms). Active pilots: supermarket returns and warehouse crate handling; at GTC, KR1 worked from a warehouse-management order to pick, crate and deliver bottles. Bear has 16,000+ robots at 5,000+ customer locations.

Does it hold up?
Too early to judge — launch-day announcement with company-measured speedups (GR00T 500ms to 60ms, in-house model 72.3 to 17.2ms); no independent evaluation of the demonstration-to-skill pipeline yet.
