Coucou: a tiny friend in your Mac's notch that watches your AI coding agents
Open-source macOS app that parks Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Antigravity sessions in the MacBook notch, with live activity, diffs and one-click permission approvals.
Why it matters
It answers agent permission prompts from the notch (or the iPhone Lock Screen) instead of making you flip back to the terminal, and it does it with zero third-party dependencies.
What you could build with it
A small dev-tools team could build the same approval-in-the-notch pattern for Windows and Linux desktops, where long agent runs also stall on permission prompts: a system-tray companion that lets a developer approve, deny or answer from anywhere without switching windows.
Does it hold up?
Hands-on reviewers had Mochi in the notch within seconds of launching v0.1.0 and confirmed the approval flow; the Oct 1 Mac build was not Apple-notarized, so first installs need an 'Open Anyway' step.
