Giotto Solo and Giotto Alto: Swiss sovereign AI family for public infrastructure
Lausanne-based Giotto.ai launched Giotto Solo and Giotto Alto on 27 Oct 2026: Swiss-developed reasoning models designed to run on public cloud, dedicated European cloud, or on-premises with no US dependency. Alto is free to everyone and runs on eight B300 GPUs; Solo is pitched as the smartest model that runs on a single GPU, with iOS and Android apps launching alongside.
