GOD: a real-time control room for LLM agent societies
Local-first browser control room for agent societies: an operator picks or authors a scenario, inspects the world on a map, asks agents why they moved, intervenes in the next step, and preserves the resulting state, built on the AgentSociety simulator and the JiuwenClaw runtime.
Why it matters
It makes opaque multi-agent runs inspectable and intervenable: every Ask and Intervene action is recorded next to the replay step it precedes, so a simulation can be steered, replayed and reproduced instead of just watched.
What you could build with it
A university course team or research lab could build a teaching module around the control room: students run a small simulated town, intervene in one agent's decisions, and compare the replay before and after to study how local rules produce emergent social behaviour.
Does it hold up?
Usable today for researchers: a browser replay of the god-town scenario runs with no install and no API key, and the repo ships built-in experiments; steering a live run locally still means running the Python stack.
