Why it matters
Replaces slow expensive LLM judges with typed Jev decisions - fast enough to run on every trace and inside the agent loop itself, and runnable locally with Kev or Laya.

Add jevals as a CI gate for an agentic coding repo: every agent-generated PR runs trace evals (ToolChoice, Grounded, IndirectInjection) and blocks merge when a guardrail fails.
Does it hold up?
Too early to judge. A quickstart exists, but there are no independent reproductions or CI integration reports.
