Kimi Work Goal Mode (目标模式)
Moonshot AI added a Goal Mode to its Kimi Work desktop app: set an objective with acceptance criteria, and the agent works in self-checking loops until the goal is met.
Why it matters
It turns the agent from a step-by-step assistant into an overnight worker — assign the goal in the evening, it iterates while you sleep, and you review in the morning; up to 300 agents can swarm a task in parallel.
What you could build with it
A small research team could hand Kimi Work's Goal Mode a weekly literature-digest target — collect every new paper on a topic, extract key results tables, flag contradictions — and wake up to a structured briefing instead of a pile of open tabs.
Does it hold up?
Too early to judge at scale: one credible 24-hour real-world run produced a finished, open-sourced comic book, but broad third-party reviews of the new Goal Mode have not landed yet.
