On 2026-09-24 Tencent Marvis released a new version repositioning the product from 'AI assistant' to 'AI管家' (AI butler), built around four persistent butler capabilities — computer, files, browser and software — plus a new '管家团队' sidebar. It targets ongoing personal-device and digital-asset management, with an on-device 35B model quantized from 30GB to 10GB, and an OEM/NAS/信创 hardware ecosystem push.
Why it matters
A desktop agent that owns continuous device and asset management instead of one-shot office tasks: claimed ~92% computer-butler task completion, an auto-discovered local knowledge base (Tencent Docs now, WeChat Work Docs next), natural-language self-built butlers arriving in November, and an Intel/飞牛 AI NAS edition in October.
