OpenMail: an email identity for every AI agent
OpenMail gives each AI agent its own inbox on a team's own domain, with inbound mail delivered over webhook or WebSocket, attachments converted to text a model can read, and a sending reputation that belongs to that inbox alone.
Why it matters
One bad agent can no longer get every agent's mail flagged: per-inbox reputation and inbox-scoped keys isolate tenants, and provisioning takes a single CLI command or API call.
What you could build with it
A support-automation startup could give each customer-facing agent its own inbox so verification codes, vendor replies and customer threads arrive as structured, threaded context, with no agent ever borrowing a human's Gmail account.
Does it hold up?
Usable today for small agent fleets: a free tier covers 3 inboxes and 3,000 emails a month, but the review notes no public production writeups yet and rate caps that rule out cold-outreach volume.
