SolidCraft: open-source parametric CAD in Rust that agents can drive over MCP
SolidCraft is an open-source parametric 3D CAD application written in pure Rust (desktop, browser via WebAssembly, headless CLI) with constrained sketches, solid features, assemblies and an editable parameter timeline, plus an MCP server so an AI agent can run modeling commands, measure geometry, change parameters and export STEP/STL/OBJ files. Created Oct 7, it passed ~9,300 stars within weeks and is now one of GitHub's fastest-trending repos.

Does it hold up?
Early but usable for simple parts per the project's own README, with drawings and CAM deferred; the v0.21 release-candidate pace and 9,300+ stars show real usage, but the rapidly changing save formats (format 34 by v0.21) mean files from newer builds may not open in older ones.
