Weft — red squiggles for teams of coding agents
A coordination protocol (WCP) plus Cloudflare-backed implementation that lets parallel coding agents edit one repo: a per-repo sequencer validates each agent edit against accepted changes and streams diagnostics back via native hooks.
Why it matters
Moves agent coordination from pull-request time to edit time — agents get 'red squiggle' style feedback live, no file locks, humans can approve/pause/undo from the same event stream.
What you could build with it
An engineering team running several coding agents in parallel on one codebase could adopt the Weft protocol so agents validate each edit against a shared sequencer instead of colliding at merge time. The concrete result: concurrent agent work on the same repository with live, human-visible oversight.
Does it hold up?
Repo is a research/demo implementation (WCP v0.1 is a draft spec, ~0 stars at launch) with a live public demo of its own dogfood logs. Too early to judge — promising protocol, unproven in production.
