China's first earth-embedded spatiotemporal base model for remote sensing, released Sept 24 with a paired China-region embedding vector dataset.
Why it matters
A native-Chinese-satellite base model that converts raw long-timeseries, multi-modal remote sensing data into reusable standardized embedding vectors at 10m grid resolution, cutting downstream development cost for agriculture, disaster response, and carbon accounting.
What you could build with it
Build a crop-insurance pricing service on the XuanNv Earth embedding dataset: query grid embeddings for farmland parcels to score drought/flood risk and settle parametric insurance payouts without on-site inspection.
Does it hold up?
Too early to judge for the September 24 model itself. Adjacent older Xuannv embedding projects show regional serving and visualization work, but no independent use of the new release.
