Why it matters
First vendor-neutral registry for agent-to-business discovery: brands verify listings against their own domain and any assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) can resolve the official support endpoint. Builds on the Agentic Resource Discovery protocol (Microsoft/Google/Hugging Face working group) and sits before Meta/Sierra's Personal Agent Protocol and Decagon's PACT in the flow.

Does it hold up?
Too early to judge — announced today as a draft spec with no published pricing or launch date; launch partners (Betterment, ElevenLabs, Flex, TeamSystem, TBAuctions, Telekom Payment, Wireless Logic) are brands and platforms, not assistant builders. The hard question is whether OpenAI/Anthropic/Google will query it by default.
