ESET NeoCortex: self-hosted cybersecurity foundation model for incident triage
Specialized world-model-architecture AI that powers ESET LiveCortex inside the ESET PROTECT platform, correlating billions of daily telemetry events into prioritized incidents, at a claimed 1/200th the training cost of general-purpose models.
Why it matters
A defense-only foundation model with a never-go-rogue design: restricted sandboxes, read-only tools, a kill switch and human oversight of critical decisions, built and hosted entirely on ESET's own infrastructure.

Does it hold up?
Too early to judge: introduced October 28 as part of ESET's commercial platform, not as a standalone model; only about 1 in 90,000 telemetry events surface as incidents per ESET, and no independent evaluation of its triage quality exists yet.
