Hugging Face AnySpeechRecognizer and AnyDecisionModel: open speech and decision models for Apple platforms
Two Swift packages from Hugging Face: AnySpeechRecognizer gives Apple apps one interface for on-device speech recognition (Apple Speech, NVIDIA Parakeet, Qwen3-ASR) with speaker diarization, and AnyDecisionModel answers yes/no, multiple-choice and rating questions from model probabilities instead of generated text.
Why it matters
Brings downloadable open speech and decision models to iOS and macOS apps with a single interface instead of per-engine glue code, running on device via Core ML, MLX or llama.cpp.

An indie iOS developer could add on-device call transcription with speaker labels to a customer-support app, routing calls without sending audio to a server.
