Polylane for ChatGPT: ask ChatGPT what broke in production
Polylane's newest launch connects its code, infra and observability data to ChatGPT, so teams can ask what broke in production and get an investigation that opens a pull request with the fix, extending its AI on-call engineer from Vercel and Cloudflare to ChatGPT.
Why it matters
It puts incident investigation where non-engineers already ask questions: a ChatGPT conversation becomes an on-call interface, with the fix delivered as a PR instead of a chat answer.
What you could build with it
A small SaaS team could trial this as its first on-call responder: route one low-severity alert class through it, require every auto-opened PR to pass CI and a human review, and compare time-to-fix against the previous manual runbook before widening coverage.
Does it hold up?
Too early to judge: launched October 29 as the fifth Polylane launch in a month, and the ChatGPT surface is new; no independent incident-resolution reports or pricing details were found in launch coverage.
